Christian Hip Hop Mini-Showcase

Good afternoon everyone! In the spirit of this Easter holiday, I would like to showcase three of my personal favorite songs from the rising Christian Rap scene and other spritual songs. I felt that because this holiday represents the resurrection of our lord and Jesus Christ, I wanted to post several of my favorite hip hop songs that represent the spirit of Christianity. So without further interruptions, here are some of my favorite Christian/Christian theme hip hop songs. Happy Easter everyone!

Pusha T Spits Venom at Lil Wayne on New Ludacris Track

Just when we thought the beef with Lil Wayne and Birdman was dead and gone, Pusha T resurrects the drama on Ludacris’s new track “Tell Me What They Mad For” for his new album “Ludaversal”. The song is also featuring Swizz Beatz on the intro.

According to Kazeem Famuyide of hiphopwired.com, Pusha T elaborates on the verse stating “It’s new and was for Luda’s album. You got to blame Swizz. See, when Wayne got a Swizz beat with the ‘Ghoulish’ track; he got busy, well, he tried to.”

After listening to it, both rappers are spitting crazy bars, but Pusha T takes his barbs at Lil Wayne and Birdman to another level, which exemplifies his skill as one of the top lyricist in hip hop. As this is his most direct attack to date, it’s getting ugly.
